Spring 2020/COVID-19 Update

First and foremost, the whole team at Empowering Africa Inc. wishes for the continued health and safety of people across the globe in these unforeseen times. The entire team has been working from home following with Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker’s Stay at Home Order. Despite being out of the office, we are delighted that we’ve been able to continue productive conversation and outreach with our global partners. Kwame Nkrumah Institute of Science and Technology – the home of our first set of scholarship recipient students – continues to be in contact with us as we hope to work through the selection process. Currently, we believe that we will be able to grant our first set of scholarships to students for the 2020-21 school year. While this is certainly open to change based on COVID-19 and related circumstances, we are optimistic about our future plans.
